Local residents were very concerned that the council was planning to build even more beach huts in Goring. They contacted the Worthing Greens who were delighted to support the local campaign and help secure a “No more beach huts” pledge from the Council.
Local campaigner Claire Hunt says: “Sea views are already patchy from the seafront, filling in the few remaining gaps was a step too far. We were glad to step in and do something to help.”
