A long-time Worthing resident, Claire Hunt was elected to Worthing Borough Council for Goring in May 2023, with more than 50% of the vote.
Claire is a local campaigner involved with many community projects, including Breathing Spaces, a Transition Town Worthing project. As lead volunteer she co-manages a community garden at Maybridge Keystone Centre, a wildflower site in Sompting, and Garden Club sessions at CREW Climate Resilience Centre.

Ian Davey

Ian Davey has lived in Sussex all his adult life and in Worthing for the last 8 years. He was elected to Worthing Borough Council for Goring in May 2024, having secured 55% of the vote.
Ian is married with two grown children and recently celebrated the arrival of his first grandchild. He has spent the last 25 years working in the community & voluntary sector, alongside environmental campaigning, sustainable transport and local politics, with an 8 year spell as an elected councillor in Sussex.
